Yes, a few people have asked, and indeed, I did invest in a stylish little step ladder to comfortably reach those taller cabinets. (For reference, the bottom ledge above my sink is as tall as my head!). However, the added storage capacity is immeasurably worth it, and I absolutely adore how grand and tall the extra cabinet height makes the kitchen feel. It adds a sophisticated, custom touch that truly elevates the entire space.
